About Abidens
Who am I?
Hi! My name is Abbie, and I’m a friendly and passionate Kenyan who loves Kiswahili and enjoys helping others learn.
Kiswahili is an important part of everyday life in Kenya and across East Africa, and I would love to share this beautiful language with people from different countries and backgrounds.
Why do I want to teach?
I want to teach because I believe learning a new language should be enjoyable, practical, and comfortable. I understand that starting a new language can sometimes feel difficult or intimidating, so I want to create a relaxed space where my students can learn without being afraid of making mistakes.
I especially enjoy helping students learn real-life Kiswahili that they can use when travelling, working, meeting Kenyan people, or simply having everyday conversations.
My goal is to help you become more confident with Kiswahili while also introducing you to a little bit of Kenyan culture along the way.
