About Isaac

My name is Isaac Atta Senior Ampofo, a dedicated and professional tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I hold both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Information Technology Education from the University of Education, Winneba, and I have several years of experience supporting students in their academic development.

I specialise in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Quantitative Methods, Computing, and Forensic Science, helping students understand complex concepts in a clear and structured way. My teaching focuses on building strong foundations, improving problem-solving skills, and increasing students’ confidence in tackling challenging topics.

As a tutor, I am patient, supportive, and committed to maintaining a professional and respectful learning environment. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to meet individual learning needs and academic goals. I take pride in explaining difficult topics in simple terms and guiding students step by step until they fully understand the material.

My goal is not only to help students achieve good grades but also to help them develop critical thinking skills and a genuine understanding of their subjects. Students who learn with me can expect well-prepared lessons, clear explanations, and a supportive tutor who is genuinely invested in their success.

My Approach to Tutoring

My tutoring approach is student-centred, supportive, and focused on building strong understanding and confidence in each subject. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match the learner’s pace, strengths, and academic goals. My aim is not only to help students pass their exams but also to help them develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills that will benefit them in the long term.

Techniques and Teaching Methodology

I use a combination of clear explanations, step-by-step demonstrations, and guided practice. Complex concepts in mathematics, quantitative methods, computing, and forensic science are broken down into simple and understandable parts. I also use practical examples, past examination questions, and interactive discussions to ensure that students fully grasp the concepts. I encourage students to ask questions freely and actively participate during lessons to strengthen their confidence and critical thinking.

Typical Length of a Lesson

A typical lesson usually lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and level of study. This allows enough time to review previous material, introduce new concepts, practise problems, and clarify any difficulties the student may have.

Qualifications and Experience

I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Information Technology Education from the University of Education, Winneba. I have several years of experience in tutoring and academic research, and I have worked with students from different educational backgrounds. My experience allows me to simplify complex topics and help students achieve strong academic results.
