About Mahlatse
I'm a passionate and enthusiastic mathematics educator from South Africa. Born and raised in a small town in the Free State province, I was fortunate to have dedicated teachers who instilled in me a love for mathematics.
My Journey with Mathematics
Growing up, I struggled to understand math concepts, but my curiosity and persistence drove me to seek help. With each breakthrough, my confidence grew, and I began to see the beauty in mathematics. I realized that math wasn't just numbers and formulas; it was a language that described the world around us.
Why Teach Math?
My desire to teach mathematics stems from:
1. Personal Experience: Overcoming my own struggles with math ignited a passion to help others.
2. Empowerment: Mathematics empowers individuals to solve problems, think critically, and make informed decisions.
3. Innovation: Math drives innovation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
4. Equality: Quality math education can bridge the gap between disadvantaged and privileged communities.
Teaching Philosophy
