About JK
I have run many group mindfulness 8-week courses and follow UK guidelines for mindfulness teachers. I have a background in teaching and learning and I thrive on class interaction and discussion. I like to balance my practical classes with science and psychology to show the links between meditation and neuroscience. I have a Psychology Hons Degree and love to keep up to date with my CPD.

I teach and coach mindfulness meditation in one-off sessions and also follow a course structure. You might want a gentle introduction or more structure to your practice. Teaching the 'Mindfulness Based Living Course' is the classic 8-week course designed by the Mindfulness Association and follows UK guidelines. My approach is very much learner-led, I encourage full participation. Mindfulness is experiential and we practise meditation within the teaching session, followed by discussion.
