About Dae デイ

Konnichiwa! You can call me Dae. I am a linguist and creative who believes there are always smarter and faster ways to learn without relying on stiff, rigid textbooks or modules.

I have been studying Japanese for four years and am currently tackling the JLPT N2, as I am looking to work or take my master's degree in Japan!

Learning a language — or new skill in general — may seem hard, but once I get to know you, I can confidently personalize your lessons to your style.

About the lesson

I passed the JLPT N3 after only a year of studying. I can efficiently teach you what Japanese textbooks and other materials can’t: natural, native, and spoken Japanese. I can prepare you for N4 and N5 levels, even if you are cramming.

My lessons contain mainly speaking, listening and reading, as these are the three foundational skills required for JLPT exams. There will be additional materials of your choice such as flashcards, homework, mock quizzes, and more.
