About Mireille
I’m a piano tutor with over 14 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano. Music composition and songwriting are my true passions, and I love sharing that creativity with my students. My teaching style is fun, engaging, and always personalized to fit each learner’s needs. Whether you’re a school student, college student, adult, or professional, I tailor lessons to help you grow. I focus on building strong skills in chord theory, performance, sight-reading, and improvisation. These areas are essential for becoming a confident and versatile pianist. I’ve helped students progress from intermediate to advanced levels, as well as those aiming for professional expertise. Every lesson is designed to challenge you while keeping the joy of music alive. I believe learning piano should be an exciting journey, not a chore. With patience and practice, you can unlock your full potential. I’m here to support you every step of the way. My piano teaching approach is fun, supportive, and focused on helping both kids and adults develop strong technique and consistent practice habits. I believe that building a love for playing is just as important as learning notes and rhythms. To keep lessons exciting, I use music games and backing tracks that make practice feel like play.
I mix classical and popular pieces to match each student’s taste and keep motivation high. For those interested in jazz or seeking music as therapy, I tailor lessons to support their unique goals and styles. Whether it’s mastering smooth improvisation or finding relaxation through music, I’m here to guide and encourage every step of the way.
Practice routines are simple but effective, designed to build skills steadily without feeling overwhelming. I focus on creating a positive space where mistakes are part of learning, and progress is celebrated. My goal is to help students gain confidence and joy in their playing. Every lesson is about growing as a musician and loving the journey. Together, we make piano learning rewarding and fun.
