About Maximilian

My name is Max and I studied "MediaMusic" at the ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Enschede (NL). Since graduating (Bachelor of Music) in 2017, I have been working as a freelance music producer and employed media all-rounder in the music scene and podcast industry in Berlin.

My musical journey began at the age of 14, playing bass in a ska & soul band with friends of the same age. At 17, we booked our first recordings in a professional recording studio, and since then I have been immersed in the world of amplifiers, effects devices and music technology, full of joy of discovery.

My greatest experience lies in music that is composed, recorded and performed in band contexts. I love handmade grooves and analog instruments - but at the same time I'm not afraid of MIDI tracks, software synthesizers and virtual sounds.
