About Monika
Hello! My name is Monika Devi I am a native Punjabi speaker with 4 years of experience teaching Punjabi in a private school. I taught students from Nursery to Grade 8 and really enjoy helping children and beginners learn Punjabi.
I can help you learn Punjabi speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and everyday conversation. I can also teach Gurmukhi reading and writing.
My lessons are friendly, patient, and adapted to each student's age and learning level. I believe learning a language should be enjoyable and comfortable.
Whether you are a complete beginner, want to improve your Punjabi, or want your child to learn Punjabi, I would be happy to help you reach your goals.

My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and focused on helping students learn Punjabi comfortably and confidently. As a native Punjabi speaker with 4 years of experience teaching Punjabi in a private school, I have taught students from Nursery to Grade 8.
I adapt my teaching methods according to each student's age, level, and learning goals. I use simple explanations, conversation practice, reading, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, and interactive activities to make lessons enjoyable and easy to understand.
A typical lesson begins with a short conversation or review of the previous lesson. We then introduce new vocabulary or a language topic and practice it together through speaking, reading, and writing activities. I finish the lesson with a review and simple practice for the student to continue learning.
What sets me apart is my combination of native Punjabi language skills and practical classroom teaching experience with children. I am patient and encouraging, and I understand that every student learns differently.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, children, students from Nursery to Grade 8, and anyone who wants to improve Punjabi speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, or everyday conversation. I can also help students learn Gurmukhi and develop confidence in using Punjabi.
