About Alison
I have a passion for teaching students the basics of reading music, because it can unlock a whole new world! Teaching beginning piano and ukulele lessons is a passion of mine. I was a flute major/music ed major in college at IUP, which has an incredible music program! I’ve taught in Pennsylvania, Vermont, Indiana, California, Colorado and North Carolina.

I have been teaching music for 18 years in public schools- everything from pre-k through high school! I love teaching elementary age students because it is amazing to be able to spark an early LOVE for all things musical! There is something for everyone!
