About Burugu
I’m Ravi — a Lead Robotics Engineer based in the UK with over 10 years of real industry experience.
I led development of an AI-powered robotic system now deployed across 10+ industrial sites in the UK and US, handling 10,000+ items every day. I hold 10+ patents in tactile sensing, robotic manipulation, and computer vision — and was awarded Rising Star of the Year 2023 by the Fresh Produce Consortium, a national UK award for innovation in automation.
I hold an MSc in Robotics from Cranfield University and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering. I’ve also represented my university internationally — including at NASA CanSat and ASME competitions in Canada.
I don’t teach from textbooks. Everything I teach comes from real deployments — real robots, real problems, real solutions.

My lessons are practical and industry-focused — not textbook theory.
Every session is tailored to your specific goals. Before we start I offer a free 30-minute intro call to understand where you are and where you want to go.
What a typical session looks like:
• First 5 mins — review what you’ve tried and where you’re stuck
• Middle 40 mins — hands on problem solving and teaching
• Last 15 mins — summary, next steps, and resources
I teach using real code from real deployments. You’ll leave every session with something working, not just notes.
Sessions are online via Google Meet or Zoom. I share my screen and we work through problems together in real time.

Perfect! Brillant Tutor
My son is very impressed with Burugu's in-depth knowledge of robotics engineering and excellent teaching style.
