About Leo
I have 5 years of tutoring experience and a deep love for language, culture, and stories. I’m well-versed in European and Russian classical literature and poetry—and yes, Russian literature is far more than just Pushkin and Leo Tolstoy. Fun fact: there were actually three writers with the surname Tolstoy.
I also have a background in architecture and the history of architecture, and I’m endlessly fascinated by history in general. I’m equally interested in sports, business and investments, which allows me to adapt lessons for professional goals as well.
This means my lessons often come with rich cultural context, unexpected connections, and engaging discussions. If you enjoy discovering new writers, poets, ideas, and perspectives while learning Russian, you’ll feel right at home.
