About Elizabeth
I love to teach as I know it can be difficult to find someone who is not just knowledgable, but supportive and encouraging.
After three years of intensive classical training, as well as 20+ years training in contemporary styles, I know that the same thing does not necessarily work for everyone. I pride myself on tailoring my lessons in accordance with the individual.
I am a good listener and will always take your feedback into account. Whatever goals you have - whether it be to sing professionally, gain confidence, or just sing for fun - I will be your cheerleader!

My name is Elizabeth and I have completed a Bachelor of Music, specialising in classical voice. I have been singing for over 20 years and am well versed in the intricacies of vocal anatomy and pedagogy. I teach all sorts of classical styles, including opera, art song, and oratorio. I also contemporary styles including pop, rock, alternative and folk.
My lessons aim to focus on utilising the voice in a way that is safe and expressive. I emphasise the importance of vocal support, breath control, vocal flexibility, projection, and placement.
It is imperative to me to creative an environment that is creative, safe, and inclusive for my students. My priority is structuring our lessons around your needs, goals, and vocal abilities. Whether you want to extend your range, increase your stamina or be able to sing in a different style, I am happy to help.
Our lessons will be tailored according to what your goals and abilities are. I will pick specific exercises/warm-ups to suit your voice type and assist your vocal development. You are free to choose any songs you wish to work on – I can also offer a myriad of suggestions depending on your vocal type/abilities.
I have a current Working With Children’s Check and am able to teach ages 8+.
