About Tulika

Dear Students!

I am Tulika Bhuyan, a trained vocal artist and music teacher with over 15 years of experience in teaching Indian Classical and traditional music.

I hold a Master’s degree in Music (M.Mus) and have completed advanced vocal training (Nipun) from Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith.

Over the years, I have worked with students of different age groups, especially children and beginners, helping them build confidence and a strong musical foundation from the very beginning.

I have also performed at recognized cultural platforms, including events under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and I am actively involved in music education and cultural activities.

I believe every child has musical potential, and with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement, they can grow beautifully in music.

Teaching is not just my profession — it is my passion to nurture young learners.

About the lesson

Learning music at an early age helps children develop confidence, focus, and creativity. My classes are specially designed for kids and complete beginners who are starting their musical journey for the first time.

I create a friendly, comfortable, and pressure-free environment where children can enjoy learning while building a strong foundation in Indian Classical Music.

What your child will learn:
• Basic swaras (notes) and voice training
• Simple alankars and exercises for voice development
• Rhythm sense and listening skills
• Easy songs, bhajans, and beginner-level raagas
• Stage confidence and expression

How I teach:
• Very simple and step-by-step method
• Patient and friendly approach with kids
• Focus on understanding, not just memorizing
• Regular practice guidance for steady improvement

These classes are perfect for children who are beginners, shy to sing, or want to explore music in a fun and structured way.

Give your child the gift of music and a strong creative foundation.

I have known Tulika for several years and have seen her grow as a dedicated musician and teacher.

What I really appreciate about her is her calm and patient approach, especially with beginners and children. She makes learning simple and enjoyable, and I’ve personally seen how even shy and weaker students become more confident under her guidance.

We have also worked together on music and cultural activities, where her sincerity and passion for teaching really stand out. She is not just knowledgeable but also genuinely cares about her students’ progress.

I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly and supportive music teacher and build a strong foundation on classical singing under her guidance.
