About Nora
I am a Spanish tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a Master of Arts in Hispanic Studies. I have guided students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, to excel in their Spanish studies. My expertise includes preparing students for GCSE, A-Levels, IB Spanish, DELE, and AP Spanish exams. I focus on helping students master grammar, expand vocabulary, and develop strong essay-writing skills. Oral exam strategies are a key part of my lessons, giving students confidence to speak fluently and accurately. I create structured revision plans tailored to each student, ensuring steady progress and exam readiness. Over the years, I have helped countless students achieve top grades and gain recognition for their academic excellence. I believe that a clear understanding of fundamentals, combined with practice and dedication, leads to lasting success. My teaching style is patient, engaging, and focused on results. My teaching approach focuses on making Spanish practical, fun, and easy to use in everyday life. I emphasize conversational skills, helping students speak confidently in informal settings. We cover everyday communication, texting, slang, and social phrases so students can navigate real-life situations naturally. Lessons are interactive, with dialogues, role-plays, and situational exercises.
I integrate vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and phonetics into meaningful practice rather than isolated drills. Reading, listening, and writing activities are designed to strengthen comprehension and fluency. I encourage asking questions and making mistakes because learning grows from practice. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and learning style.
Special focus is given to newcomers and immigrants, helping them adjust socially and communicate effectively in their communities. I also support students preparing for DELE exams or professional environments. My goal is to build confidence, independence, and a love for the language. Every session is designed to make Spanish feel accessible, relevant, and exciting.
