About Kelvin
Hello! My name is Kelvin, and I’m from Nairobi, Kenya. As a native Swahili speaker, I enjoy sharing the beauty of the language with learners in a relaxed and friendly way. I’m patient, supportive, and always aim to make lessons interactive and enjoyable. Whether you’re completely new to Swahili or simply want to build more confidence, I’ll walk with you through every stage of your learning.
My background in Education has equipped me with solid teaching strategies, creative lesson planning skills, and an understanding of how students learn in different ways. This means I can adapt my approach to suit your needs and make each class engaging, well-organized, and effective. My mission is to help you achieve your goals while having fun along the journey.

I have three years of experience teaching Swahili to teens and adults—both online and in person. My students include absolute beginners, travelers, university learners, and professionals preparing for work in East Africa. I’ve designed step-by-step curricula, created custom revision notes, and helped learners pass course assessments and oral interviews. Students describe my lessons as patient, practical, and motivating. Beyond class, I provide quick check-ins and extra resources to keep momentum high. Many of my learners now hold everyday conversations confidently and can write clear messages in Swahili.
