About Polina

I am a native Ukrainian speaker with a strong passion for languages and teaching. My own language journey deeply shaped the way I teach today.

When I moved to Berlin to complete my Master’s degree, I quickly realized how important it was to truly master the local language. I went from beginner to an advanced level of German in about a year and a half and later worked entirely in German at a consulting company alongside native speakers.

Learning German myself helped me understand the real challenges students face when learning a new language. Because of this experience, I focus on creating lessons that are supportive, practical, and confidence-building.

I now live in Melbourne, Victoria and teach Ukrainian as my native language, as well as German. My goal is to help students feel comfortable speaking, make steady progress, and enjoy the process of discovering a new language.

About the lesson

My Ukrainian lessons are interactive and adapted to each student. We learn the alphabet, pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and simple sentences for everyday communication. I use Miro platform for the best interactive learning experience :)

Each lesson is 50 minutes long and includes reading, pronunciation practice, vocabulary exercises, and short conversations.

My lessons are suited for teenagers and adults, especially beginners :)
