About Chris

Hi there! I'm Chris, and I am passionate about helping students unlock their potential in the English language. With over 12 years of experience as a certified teacher, I've seen the joy of learning firsthand in traditional classrooms and online environments. For the past 8 years, I've thrived in the dynamic world of online high school education, helping students stay on track and achieve their academic goals.

Over the last 3+ years, I've specifically focused on teaching ESL online to diverse age groups and educational backgrounds. This experience has been enriching. Not only have I honed my skills in creating engaging and practical lessons, but I've also gained a deep personal understanding of the challenges faced by ESL learners. As a parent of 3 children who are themselves English Language Learners (ELLs), I see these challenges firsthand every day. This personal connection fuels my passion for creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where every student feels empowered to succeed.

My approach to teaching ESL is all about fostering confidence and making learning fun. Let's chat and see how I can help you reach your English language goals!
