About Gary
Hello there!
My name is Gary and I've been working in education for the last 7 years! For the last year I have been teaching English on a 1:1 basis and also groups. I'm an actor and musician as well, and I love to use these skills I've learnt over the years to make learning English fun and engaging.
Most of my teaching experience comes from working with children/young adults with ASD and other special needs. These teaching experiences really shaped how I approach getting my students engaged in learning, and lets me know what works and what doesn't for particular students. In addition to working in schools, I also teach Drama classes with an extra curricular school to children from 5 to 18 years old.
I spent most of 2019 teaching English with a company in Osaka, Japan and have been teaching English online since I've been back in the UK.
I can help you with speaking and reading, understanding articles or help you with grammar!
