About Maksims
For a long time I have been researching the psychology of learning, attention and creativity). The knowledge has resulted in how skills, languages, and communication can be learned and improved. I taught various subjects in the Netherlands for 15 years, finished my Bachelor of Education and I am now living in Mexico. After starting to learn Spanish, I realized that teaching English to Spanish speakers is easier than teaching English to Dutch speakers. Now I want to take advantage of all my experience to teach in Mexico. I am bilingual and in addition to speaking English, I speak Russian and Dutch at a native level.

We first determine your learning style and take a look at your attention mechanism. We will also establish your interests. Then we will work on your vocabulary, which will give you the confidence to SPEAK. This is easy! Once you are talking and listening, we will work on the syntax and pronunciation. From there we can start writing. The approach is based on two important parts: activating your learning skills and using your interests.

Ik heb Maksims leren kennen toen ik een artikel in de wijkkrant schreef over zijn film over Tsjernobyl, uit die film zie je al zijn grote talent. Maar zijn talent is ook terug te vinden in zijn enorme kracht om mensen te stimuleren. Door de cursus die ik bij hem heb gevolgd, ben ik anders naar dingen gaan kijken. Ik heb daardoor de rust gevonden, daarvoor waardeer ik hem zeer.
