About Katherine

I’m a college student who sat the Leaving Cert not long ago, so I understand the stress, the workload, and the panic before exams. I want to teach grinds because I remember how much of a difference one good explanation can make. My aim is to make subjects clearer, exams less intimidating, and students more confident in their own ability. I know what examiners are looking for and I want to pass that on.

About the lesson

Lessons are tailored to the student’s needs, whether that’s essay structure, timing, or understanding texts. I focus on what examiners are actually looking for and how to put ideas into clear, effective answers. We break topics down, practise exam questions, and focus on building skills students can use independently in exams.

Katherine has been tutoring me in Irish for my Leaving Certificate for the past 6 months.

With Katherine’s help, my oral, written, and comprehension skills, have greatly improved. I have moved out of the ‘B’ arena into the ‘A’ arena.

Katherine is always well prepared, and breaks down what can be a difficult language into something much simpler for me. Her clarity of explanation ,and confidence boosting approach, has greatly helped me.

I would recommend Katherine to all levels and years, definitely a 5 star tutor.
