About Tylar
Hi I am Tylar, I am a generalist artist based near Manchester.
I love helping people to improve their 3D abilities and to inspire them to soar in their creative journeys.
I graduated in Digital art for 3D games and media from University of Central Lancashire in 2022 and since then I have graduated in PGCE from University of Huddersfield to learn more about teaching to improve my own teaching.
Now I have started my MA in Game development from the University of Bolton and as part of the course I am developing games in a small indie group.
I may have not worked on any big projects but I have been using Blender for 7 years and know multiple different fields within it such as 3D modelling, UV mapping, Procedural shaders, Animation, Rigging and UE5

Who are my lessons for -All ages / level 1-5 / Beginner to intermediate
Lesson Length - 1hr length
Experience - 1 year experience teaching level 5/6 with PGCE
Teaching style and methods -
The teaching style I have developed is not design for you to copy what I do each step of the way and forget what I taught but to develop how your thinking and overcome problem solving skills and become more fluent with the program and skills.
An example lesson would be I would breakdown an area of 3D workflow such as sculpting using cognitive load theory and I would have you find a theme you are interested in to increase your motivation. After briefing you on the theory involved with the topic, I would showcase a workshop using the workflow/skill on a different theme and explain how it is related and to have you experiment with the tools to develop your fluency with the workflow/skill.
This method would help you understand how to use the tutorial and apply it various other projects.
