About Qazi
I'm a practicing lawyer with a strong command of English, built through years of legal research, drafting, and argument — work where precision and clarity aren't optional. Alongside my legal career, I have formal experience giving private after-school tuition to children, which is where I discovered how much I enjoy helping young learners build confidence with language.
I believe a strong grip on English opens doors well beyond the classroom, and I try to make that connection real for my students — not just teaching grammar rules, but showing them how to actually use the language well: to read with understanding, write with clarity, and speak with confidence.
Outside of tutoring, my day job keeps me sharp on exactly the skills I teach — breaking down complex ideas, explaining them simply, and paying close attention to detail. I bring that same patience and structure to every lesson, adapting my approach to how each student learns best.
I'm currently offering online lessons for school-age students of all levels, with flexible scheduling to fit around your child's routine.

My teaching style is built on two things: patience and precision — both of which come naturally from my background as a lawyer and from experience giving private after-school tuition to children.
Methodology: I start every new student with a quick assessment of where they currently stand — vocabulary, grammar, reading, and writing — so lessons are built around what they actually need rather than a one-size-fits-all syllabus. I break concepts into small, manageable steps, use real-world examples and simple language to explain grammar rules, and encourage students to practice out loud so they build both accuracy and confidence. I also make a point of connecting lessons to what they're covering in school, so tutoring reinforces (rather than duplicates) their classwork.
Lesson length: I keep this flexible and tailor it to the student — typically 30-60 minutes depending on age and attention span, with younger children usually benefiting from shorter, more frequent sessions and older students from longer, deeper ones. Happy to agree on what works best for your child during our first lesson.
Experience: I have formal experience giving private after-school tuition to children, alongside a professional background where clear written and spoken English is essential daily. This combination means I don't just know the rules of English — I know how to explain them in a way that sticks.
Who this is for: I teach students across all school ages — from early primary through secondary school — helping with grammar, reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and spoken confidence, whether the goal is keeping up with schoolwork, catching up after falling behind, or building a stronger foundation overall.
