About Anita
From the age of six to my studies, I played the piano professionally and then continued my studies in musicology. I recently completed a Masters degree in Music and Media exploring pedagogical teaching methods in a digital setting. I am currently a professor at an online music school in New York where I teach piano to children ages 3-15. I also have several older students who want to develop piano playing as a new hobby.

The most important point in my method is that the student realizes his love for music and playing the piano. My teaching method is mainly based on a pleasant and joyful approach to the piano as a medium that creates beautiful sounds, i.e. music. I approach each student individually according to their affinities, skills and goals. I know numerous piano works and their theoretical rules and go into great detail about playing the piano.
