About Jorge
As a former student myself, I sometimes felt that I was not finding my way to learn, that I was stuck with my subjects. Most of my teaching experience comes from understanding what is blocking me and how can I overcome it. Hi! My name is Jorge, I am a data specialist and Msc graduated in Modelling Engineering with more than 6 years of teaching experience.
Coding might feel intimidating at first. It is nothing like other subjects you have already studied. However, I have guided many students overcome this first blocking phase with these steps:
1- Let's be practical:
From the very first class, we’ll work directly with examples. This way, theory will become natural, and we’ll only explain it when necessary.
2 - Treat coding like a puzzle:
We start with a simple problem and gradually incorporate more advanced techniques. This helps solidify programming logic.
3 - You keep the pace:
What sets apart a private class from a traditional lesson or a video tutorial is that I can provide real-time feedback. You’ll get to practice what you’ve learned. This effort will be worthwhile, as by the end of the session, you’ll have tackled the most challenging part, and you won’t need to struggle with code on your own the next day.
With these strategies, you’ll see progress from the very first class and won’t have any trouble mastering the subject
