About Shamila
I am a qualified teacher who has over 6 years' experience teaching in both Yorkshire and the North West. I teach students both online and face to face. I am committed to helping and supporting my students on this educational journey and appreciate the different backgrounds my learners come from and their educational needs. I am passionate about my students' educational achievement and believe with hard work, dedication and a good teacher all learners can progress and achieve their potential. My teaching style is very learner-focused, for example, when teaching maths I like to explore a variety of techniques when teaching a complex topic as I appreciate all learners have their own individual way of learning and this should not be diminished but in fact nourished and respected. Educational confidence plays a very big role in a student's attainment therefore I believe it is vital to listen to my students' needs and tailor my teaching to them.
