About Amy

I am a history undergraduate at The University of Edinburgh achieved 2.1 and 1.1 level! I achieved a grade 9 at IGCSE biology level, and an A* at A-level (along with four other A*!). I really have a strong passion for making good biology notes - usually in the form of flashcards. Then, past papers can be used to consolidate and refine knowledge.

About the lesson

I am a friendly, hardworking and reliable tutor who has taught over 100 hours of Biology at both GCSE and IGCSE level. I tend to use the format teach, practice and consolidate to ensure my students leave the class feeling confident! I have taken one student from a fail to a grade 8 in only one month, going from 12% class tests to 91%. I like to make the environment super comfortable and friendly, as everyone sometimes needs to make mistakes when learning for the first time. I also am very patient!!
