About Aman
Hi, my name is Aman. I am a 16 year old aspiring medic, who wants to help others achieve top grades in Biology and Chemistry. I am taking these subjects at A level, and have a real passion for learning about them. I feel that I excel at breaking difficult concepts down to an easier level, so that this information can be retained easier. I hope to make exams less stressful for my students by efficiently teaching content and teaching exam skills.

I understand that everyone learns differently, and for this reason, I feel that I am able to adapt the way I teach in order to maximise efficient learning. In year 10, I struggled with biology, frequently achieving grades 4 & 5. Through hard work and determination, I developed a passion for the subject, and in the summer of this year, I achieved a grade 8. When I teach, I connect my Ipad to my computer, so my student can see what i'm writing and how I take my notes. I believe this is very beneficial as it allows me to explain the concept clearly. I also have a copy of the specification next to me, which tells me exactly what I need to teach, so I cover everything in the exam. I will teach for an hour, but will never be in a rush to finish something I am explaining. I think it is better to make sure the concept is understood before the lesson finishes, so there is no confusion. I teach GCSE Edexcel combined and separate biology, as well as biology for younger students who have not started the GCSE course. Having a good tutor is not just about being told about everything that will be in an exam. It is also about how to have good exam skills. Like I mentioned previously, I struggled with Biology, and throughout my journey to achieving a top grade, I learnt valuable exam skills, which I believe I can pass on to my student.
