About Anaïs

I am a passionate STEM student entering my final year of A Levels, studying Maths, Chemistry, and Biology, with predicted grades of A*, A*, and A. I also have a strong interest in the arts and music, and I play the piano. I enjoy sports and am a member of my school’s girls’ football team, having reached the semi-finals last year. In addition, I enjoy running and going to the gym. I also speak French and Portuguese fluently and understand a lot of Spanish, which is helpful for students where English isn't their first language but are learning English curriculums.

About the lesson

Lessons are usually an hour, but there is flexibility to increase or decrease lesson length when agreed. Lessons can include lectures, 1 on 1 feedback with questions on a weak topic or working through exams questions and
techniques.

I want to teach because I know from experience that Chemistry can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I find it rewarding to help students make sense of difficult topics. Since I recently completed my IGCSEs, achieving a high A and now being predicted an A* at A Level, I also understand what examiners are looking for and how to approach exam questions effectively.

I am an experienced tutor having always tutored younger students at my school. I am available to teach KS3 or younger students up to IGCSE/GCSE level.
