About Evan
My name is Evan, and I am a dedicated music tutor with advanced training in both guitar (Level 10) and piano (Level 8), along with a 95% average in music theory. I bring a strong, well-rounded understanding of music that combines technical skill, theory, and performance experience.
My teaching approach is structured, patient, and focused on building confidence through clear step-by-step learning. I follow the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) curriculum to ensure students progress in a logical and effective way. Each lesson is carefully planned: we review previous material, introduce new concepts, work through them together, and reinforce learning through targeted practice assignments.
Students can expect a supportive and professional learning environment where mistakes are part of growth and progress is always measurable. I prioritize strong fundamentals, proper technique, and a genuine understanding of music rather than memorization alone.

My name is Evan, and my teaching approach is structured, clear, and focused on steady progress. I follow the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) curriculum to ensure students build strong technique, musicality, and theory in a logical progression.
In each lesson, I review past work, introduce a new concept or piece, and work through it step-by-step with the student. I focus on proper technique and understanding, not just playing. Students are then assigned targeted practice, including a piece, finger exercises, and occasional theory work.
