About Aida
Hi, I am an 18 year old girl. I have completed my schooling from two boards simultaneously - IGCSE (Cambridge) and CBSE (India). I had achieved A* in English Literature and English Language both in IGCSE A level and O level, and scored 94% in 10th and 12th grade (CBSE). I also hold a TOEFL score of 8.5 which is on the native level, and an SAT score of 1460. During the course of my Cambridge education, I had to learn to read and analyse literary works of poetry and prose of authors like Ted Hughes, Sylvia Plath, John Keats, William Blake, Emily Dickinson, etc. I'm currently preparing for the AP English literature exam, for which I'm reading and critically analysing works of Shakespeare, and classic novels like Crime and Punishment, War and Peace, Moby Dick, Gone with the wind, etc. Also, thanks to my Cambridge English language course I'm equipped with very advanced skills in creative writing. I already write poetry, short stories, and articles on my blog thelabyrinthofdistortedreflections.wordpress.com , and can help teach and develop the skills required for article writing, speech writing, and other topics covered in school.

I don't have official teaching experience; however, I have been teaching my neighbouring kids and some relatives, and I've received all positive reviews so far. I can teach students of any level, and educational board. I can be of more help to high school students. Once I get to know the student and assess their proficiency in the subject, I'll structure my lessons accordingly. My approach is to deeply understand the material, and then begin to analyse it step by step. For those who are new to literary analysis, I'll introduce the topic very easily and take them through the various introductory steps of analysis to truly master this skill.
