From personal experience, Ed is very knowledgeable and also a very patient tutor. Recently, he helped me prepare for questions on the Spanish Civil war, which at the time I wasn't so confident about. However, after going through the problems I had with it with Ed, he really helped me understand the topic better, highlighting to me the key aspects of the Civil War. He's very friendly and polite.
