About Yaroslav

I have been teaching students from Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom for 11 years now. I teach in English (C2) and Ukrainian. I develop lessons adapted to the interests and goals of students, going beyond the imperfect IB (SL/HL), AP, A-Level, and GCSE courses in physics, biology, mathematics, chemistry, astronomy, natural sciences, and others. I have academic experience in quantum physics and biotechnology, as well as practical research experience in the application of biotechnologies for cancer treatment.

My specialization is inquiry-based learning. My teaching experience, illustrated by my students: from exam preparation for admission abroad to specialized training of an engineer at a company for certification, from classical to modern physics with analysis of the latest scientific directions, from the basic concepts of quantum physics to the fundamentals of biochemistry and biotechnology, from developing scientific theories for scientific publications to applying complex concepts in practice in laboratories, from aerodynamics for schoolchildren to astronomy and astrophysics for geniuses in middle school, from chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics, and other natural sciences for beginners to the practical application of natural sciences for chefs in Harvard's culinary courses. Interdisciplinary topics at the intersection of disciplines are exactly what makes science interesting. Ordinary formulas are, of course, good, but without a clear understanding of "why" with real-life examples, learning them makes no sense, and memorizing them becomes harder than it should be.

Also, while working at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, I took part in applied biotechnology research related to cancer treatment and in writing a scientific article on this topic, which allows me to supplement my teaching with examples from real research and show how science is applied to solve current problems.

About the lesson

Every lesson with me is tailored to the student as much as possible. Each lesson influences the next one. Any new request from students or additional curiosity in any scientific field - rest assured that we will work through it together, and you will understand everything in such detail that you will be able to explain the whole process in simple terms to another person who is far from science. Additionally, besides working with students and researchers, I create educational content where I explain scientific concepts in an accessible and engaging way. This experience has helped me convey complex ideas even better to students of different ages and levels of preparation.

I adapt every lesson to your goals - whether it is improving grades, preparing for exams, deepening knowledge, or exploring topics that go beyond standard programs.

Perfect! Хочу щиро подякувати Ярославу за професійну підготовку. Незабаром я розпочинаю навчання в Fachhochschule Erfurt за програмою TEAG Akademie “Netzingenieur Gas” (додаткова кваліфікація мережевого інженера газових мереж). Для цього мені потрібно було серйозно підтягнути фізику, адже курс охоплює фізику та термодинаміку газів, гідравліку, регулювання тиску, тепловий облік газу та практичні розрахунки відповідно до стандартів DVGW. Саме з цим мені допомагає Ярослав. Він пояснює навіть складні теми дуже доступно й логічно, завжди знаходить зрозумілі приклади та відповідає на всі запитання. Після кожного заняття я відчуваю, що матеріал дійсно стає зрозумілим, а не просто завченим.
