About Emanuelle

I am a year 13 student taking Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Portuguese A-Level courses. I have studied in one of the most prestigious federal schools in Brazil and have earned several awards not only in maths but in languages, literature and sciences. I have always had a huge desire to learn, which has driven me to explore all of the opportunities that were given to me. I have also tried on many types of arts, and used to work as a musical actress as a teenager. The reason why I work as a tutor is because my passion for learning came from the idea that I should use every resource given to me since I was a child so that I could learn the most possible about the world I live in, and help others to be able to do the same. This is what makes me believe that every person has the ability and should have the chance to achieve their full potential on all aspects of their life, achieving every single one of their goals and dreams.

About the lesson

I have been studying English during my entire life, and achieved a B1/B2 CPE certificate before moving to the UK. When I moved to London, even though I was hard-working and intelligent, I did not have the resources neither the time to learn all of the topics needed. I began to study the GCSE English meanwhile strengthening my weak points, aiming to leverage my skills and dominate the structure of the exam. My current target and potential grades are A*, and I will start year 13 this year.

As someone who has been tutored and has given tutoring, the basis of my lessons consists on finding personalised resources for those who want to learn the most possible efficiently in a shorter period of time , increase their English proficiency or get A*s. I believe that the secret for improvement is practicing, and that English is not only for those who find it easy, but for those who like to learn numerous languages and who know the importance of this language in our world.

The length of a lesson will vary on your needs and availability. It can be from 30 minutes up to hours, depending on the days chosen. Lessons can have a specific frequency in the duration of a course or can be taken individually.

Lessons for all levels and ages. You can choose an approach focused on GCSE English or CPE, or taken for English proficiency focusing on specific skills.

My hourly rate has been established so that it is accessible and fair. However, I am open to negotiations. I use a platform to help me communicate with my students, and the structure of the courses, besides all of the resources I produce for my students, is selected and adapted by me to satisfy the necessities, goals and individuality of each one of them. Services that demand more numerous and personalised materials and specific preparation, such as for international exams, contain an hourly rate slightly higher than the stated.
