About Akshay
I have done GCSE Maths and Further Maths, graduating in 2019. I achieved a grade 8 in Maths and an A in Further Maths. I have tutored students before and have official teaching experience since I worked at a coding-teaching franchise called Code Ninjas (July 2020-current).

I have done Maths A level and Physics A level, latter of which requires impeccable mathematical skills. Although I haven't been given a final grade yet, I have been predicted an A* and an A respectively. I also participated in the 2020 Senior Maths Challenge, for which I attained a Silver Award.

I prioritize understanding in teaching rather than plain formulas. I will take an individualistic approach, making sure I shape my teaching style according to the student. I ensure they don't feel overwhelmned by the content and break it down according to their needs. I will be taking down the topics that the student needs help with, then plan lessons on each topic. If needed, I will break down the topics further in more lessons to make sure there is clarity in their understanding. I will ensure we work through many, and many types of questions that may be specific to the exam-style/board.
