About Amy
I am a A level student studying biology, chemistry, mathematics and further mathematics as well as an EPQ. At the moment, many young people have missed months of schooling and are getting increasingly anxious about how they will perform in their exams with such little time. Due to health issues, I actually missed over 2 years of any teaching yet with only 6 months to learn the whole gcse syllabus, I attained top grades through lots of hard work and leaning along the way the correct way to revise for me. Through this I have learned techniques for memory and recall as well as catering revision as to how you learn. I believe I can help to give you the push to excel at your exams.
I specialise in helping young people who have gaps in their learning to feel confident about their ability and to fill those gaps in to reach their full potential. One student I taught hadn’t attended secondary at all until year 11 when I helped them to go from U’s in maths to 5’s in their exams. Now they are at college doing a course that they love.

I take a systematic approach where I first want to get to know you and what you find difficult as well as finding out the best way you learn whether that is through videos or through more physical ways of teaching. I also would love to know what you feel scared about in terms of exams or if you struggle with motivation.
