About Edwin
As an A Level student, I have so much more to learn than what we did during GCSE's, but summer's coming around and I want to gain some experience teaching Maths and Physics students and I want them to understand that sitting in front of a book for an hour won't do anything, as the most efficient way to learn is to learn visually and to ensure you UNDERSTAND the topic instead of just memorising it. I've lived by this for a few years now and found myself able to learn topics much faster and I'm able to keep that knowledge for longer because I fully mastered it and once you understand something, you will find it fun to work on, as I have found. I will teach in a very friendly manner, (trust me, I know what it's like when your tutor is nothing like you and I always wanted a tutor my age, able to understand the way I think and work) because the teacher is the ambassador to the subject and if you don't like the teacher, then you won't like the subject.

Nobody learns better than when the problem is translated into visuals, which I found to be the easiest way to learn a complicated topic. It's easier to learn Trigonometry when you fully understand WHY sin cos and tan work AS sin cos and tan, for example, which is how I like to teach and learn myself. Length of a lesson will be 40 minutes to an hour, (which is the average effective attention span by the way!) I have completed my GCSES with a 7 in Maths and Physics and I'd be happy to take on a current GCSE student struggling with Maths or Physics!
