About Leena

Hello! My name is Leena Atif and I am here to turn those stressful study sessions into ones that will actually be interesting fun, enthusiastic and most importantly, understandable! As a student who has recently started sixth form and passed my GCSEs with As and A*s, I assure you that studying can be just as fun as playing video games, if you know what you are doing. And I am here to help you with just that by making sure that you are not only learning but also enjoying while chasing those grades you want. I am here to make your academic difficulties as easy as possible with convenient, interactive, enthusiastic, and friendly one-to-one online sessions, in which shall fully pay attention to your queries and come up with fun and effective methods to help you chase those grades you are looking for as well as to make learning as interesting and fun as possible. I am currently doing my DofE award in which I volunteer to help students at school with their homework and trying to clear concepts as much as possible as I believe that is the true foundation to grasp a topic.

About the lesson

I am here to make your academic difficulties as easy as possible with convenient, interactive, enthusiastic, and friendly one-to-one online sessions, in which shall fully pay attention to your queries and come up with fun and effective methods to help you chase those grades you are looking for as well as to make learning as interesting and fun as possible. The lessons would last typically for 30-45 mins as I believe that slow yet steady is the road to progress rather than stressing yourself out. I have completed my GCSEs with a grade 9 in biology, chemistry, and physics and an 8 in Maths, and I have a fair experience of tutoring as I used to tutor family friends, and students in my neighbourhood. I am offering interactive lessons for students at KS3 level for science and maths and GCSEs for science (AQA). My strategy for tutoring GCSE students would be the same that I adopted when going through my GCSEs which enabled me to achieve high 8s and 9s and that would be forming a solid foundation of the concept and going through past paper questions.

My daughter in year 8 has been tutored by Leena for 3 months by private lessons as we are neighbors. My daughter was struggling to grasp science concepts especially calculations. After being taught by Leena my daughter has hugely improved in science and as a matter of fact she began to enjoy science as her favorite subject. I would highly recommend her because of her warm and friendly interaction with students and making them feel comfortable enough to clear as many doubts as possible as well as the hard work she puts into preparing flash cards and slideshows so that the student can grasp the concept better.
