About Rodrigo
I am a Level 5 TEFL-certified English teacher from Brazil, based in Ireland, with more than 1,000 hours of combined experience teaching through online platforms, private lessons and in-person classes.
Having built my own life in an English-speaking country, I understand the challenges of communicating in a second language: knowing the grammar but freezing during conversations, translating mentally, struggling with word order or feeling that your personality does not fully come across in English.
My background also includes a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies, which influences the way I teach clarity, expression and effective communication. I have worked with learners from different professional and cultural backgrounds, including busy professionals, people preparing for life abroad and students who need English for their careers.
I teach with patience, structure and genuine attention to the individual. My goal is not simply to help you complete exercises, but to help you become an independent and confident English speaker who can communicate effectively in real situations.

My lessons are designed for adults who want to communicate more clearly, naturally and confidently in English. Every lesson is personalised around your level, goals, interests and real-life communication needs.
Speaking is at the centre of my approach. Through guided conversation, practical exercises, role-plays and realistic situations, we work on fluency, pronunciation, sentence structure, vocabulary and the grammar you need to express yourself accurately.
I can help you prepare for professional conversations, meetings, presentations, interviews, travel and everyday life in an English-speaking country. I also support students who understand English but struggle to organise their thoughts, choose the correct verb tense or speak without overthinking.
Lessons usually last 60 minutes and are suitable for adult learners from elementary to advanced level. I use a combination of original resources and professionally developed materials selected according to each student’s needs and learning style.
You will receive clear corrections, practical explanations and regular feedback, while still having plenty of time to speak and build confidence.
