About Michael

For more than 20 years, I've been immersed in music performance and instruction, helping many beginners overcome that initial doubt to become capable, expressive piano players today. I'm a well-rounded musician who sings, leads choirs, and guides bands, which allows me to teach piano in a musically complete way right from the beginning. My Yousician Grade 6 piano certification underscores the quality and depth I bring to every beginner's journey.

About the lesson

I turn beginner piano learning into an enjoyable, game-like adventure with specialized tools that keep things lively and rewarding—no tedious moments allowed. My method emphasizes balanced skills right away: building chord knowledge, basic harmony, and rhythmic security while also teaching melodic lines, easy improvisation, and expressive touch—so you become a versatile beginner pianist rather than someone strong in only one area. My standout quality is genuine patience; I'll slow down, repeat, and support you fully until your desired goals feel solidly within reach. Lessons are crafted specifically for beginners—ideal if you're just starting your piano journey!
