About Mharies
Hello! I’m Mharies, a dedicated English educator with approximately seven years of teaching experience in classroom and online settings. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English from Capitol University and a TEFL certificate. I have taught children, senior high school and college students, adult professionals, and international English learners.
My experience includes teaching conversational English, reading and writing, grammar, pronunciation, and communication skills. I also teach voice and train choir singers, which strengthens my ability to help individuals use their voices confidently and expressively.
I am patient, dependable, and attentive to each learner’s needs. I create a respectful environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes without embarrassment, and steadily build their confidence. Aside from teaching, I enjoy singing, creative writing, reading, and participating in choir activities.

My lessons are supportive, practical, and personalized according to each student’s level, learning style, and goals. I use guided conversation, clear explanations, relatable examples, pronunciation practice, and constructive feedback to help students communicate with greater accuracy and confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review and warm-up, followed by the main topic, guided practice, and an activity that allows students to apply what they have learned. We end by reviewing key points and identifying areas for continued improvement.
With approximately seven years of teaching experience, a Bachelor’s degree in English, and TEFL certification, I have taught children, senior high school and college students, adult professionals, and international English learners. I teach conversational English, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, and communication skills. What sets me apart is my patience, adaptability, and ability to make difficult concepts easier to understand.
