About Perla
Hello! I’m Perl, an experienced educator and tutor with hands-on experience supporting learners through the ARAL Program, National Learning Camp, and private tutoring. I am passionate about helping students develop strong English skills, especially in reading, pronunciation, vocabulary, and comprehension.
As a tutor, I create a patient, encouraging, and learner-centered environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. I believe that effective teaching is not just about giving answers—it is about helping learners understand, practice, and gradually become confident and independent.
My experience working with learners of different levels has taught me to adjust my teaching style according to each student’s needs, pace, and learning goals. Whether you are a beginner building foundational reading skills or a student who wants to improve fluency and comprehension, I am committed to making every lesson clear, engaging, and meaningful.

I believe that every learner can improve when lessons are engaging, supportive, and suited to their individual needs. With experience in the ARAL Program, National Learning Camp, and private tutoring, I have worked with learners with different abilities, learning levels, and needs.
My lessons are particularly focused on English reading, including phonics, word recognition, pronunciation, reading fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. I use learner-centered activities, guided practice, repetition, and age-appropriate reading materials to help students build both skills and confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review or assessment, followed by guided instruction, interactive reading activities, practice, and comprehension exercises. I adjust my approach based on the learner's progress and provide encouragement throughout the lesson.
Whether your child is just beginning to read, needs support with English, wants to improve reading comprehension, or simply needs more confidence, I aim to make every lesson comfortable, meaningful, and enjoyable.
My goal is not only to help students read better, but also to help them become more confident, independent, and motivated learners.
