About Renso
As a Licensed Civil Engineer and experienced tutor, I help students understand Math and Physics in a clear, structured, and practical way. With my background in engineering and STEM, I bring both strong technical knowledge and real problem-solving experience into every lesson.
I have experience tutoring students from Elementary to College level, across Canada and Australia, covering subjects such as Algebra, Functions, Advanced Functions, Calculus, Physics, IB Math, and other STEM-related topics. I helped them work through curriculum-based lessons, exam preparation, and difficult problem-solving topics. Over the years, I have worked with students of different learning levels—some building their foundation, while others preparing for exams and academic requirements. My goal is always to help students improve their understanding, performance, and confidence.
My teaching approach is centered on clarity, patience, and step-by-step learning. I break down complex topics into simple and understandable parts, making sure students grasp the concepts before moving on to advanced problems. I adjust my teaching style depending on the student’s pace and needs, ensuring that lessons are effective and personalized.
In every session, I use a structured but flexible method that includes concept explanation, guided examples, practice exercises, and feedback. This allows students to gradually build independence in solving problems while strengthening their conceptual understanding.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my combination of engineering experience, strong academic foundation, and patient teaching style. I focus not only on helping students pass their exams, but also on building long-term understanding and confidence in Math and Physics.

I teach students from Elementary to College level, including subjects such as Algebra, Functions, Advanced Functions, Calculus, Physics, IB Math, and other STEM-related topics. I also assist students in preparing for quizzes, examinations, homework, university entrance tests, and academic requirements.
My teaching approach is personalized and step-by-step. I adjust my lessons depending on the student’s level, pace, and learning style. During lessons, I simplify difficult concepts through clear explanations, guided examples, practice exercises, and effective problem-solving techniques. I focus on helping students understand the concepts deeply instead of simply memorizing formulas and procedures.
A typical lesson usually includes:
