About Yehssa
Hi! I’m Teacher Yehssa, a Licensed Professional Teacher and an English Major graduate passionate about helping students improve their English skills in a comfortable and encouraging learning environment. Although I am new to professional tutoring, my academic background and communication experience have helped me develop patience, adaptability, and effective teaching strategies suited for different types of learners.
My lessons are designed to be interactive, student-centered, and easy to understand. I focus on improving grammar, reading comprehension, writing, speaking confidence, and communication skills through discussions, practice exercises, and real-life examples. I also make sure to adjust my teaching style depending on the student’s pace and learning needs to create a more effective and enjoyable learning experience.
I offer lessons for junior high school, senior high school, and beginner-level learners who want to strengthen their English foundation. Sessions usually last around 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s goals and preferred schedule. Classes are available online and home-based within Cebu.
As someone who values continuous learning and growth, I aim to create a supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing themselves, and building confidence in using the English language.
