Hi! I’m Verna, a licensed ESL teacher with over 12 years of experience teaching since 2012. I have taught students from different backgrounds, from Asians to Europeans. I’m patient, friendly, and supportive, and I help students build confidence in speaking English step by step.

In my lessons, I help you feel more confident speaking English in a relaxed and friendly way. Don’t worry about making mistakes; that’s part of learning, and I’m here to guide you. We’ll work on your grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation step by step while keeping the class fun and easy to follow.
A typical lesson starts with a simple conversation to warm up, then we talk about different topics, learn new words, and I give gentle corrections to help you improve. I always adjust the lesson depending on your level and what you want to focus on.
I’ve been teaching ESL since 2012, so I understand the struggles of learning English. I’m patient, easy to talk to, and I make sure you feel comfortable during class.
My lessons are great for beginners up to advanced learners—whether you want to practice speaking, prepare for work, or just improve your everyday English.
