About Ildefonso
I hold a Professional License in Secondary Education — Mathematics, and have spent over six years working closely with students as both a private tutor and a classroom teacher. My experience spans Junior and Senior High School, where I have helped students not only pass their Math subjects but genuinely understand and appreciate them.
I take every session seriously. I come prepared, communicate progress clearly, and create a learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes — because that is where real learning happens. Every student I work with receives my full attention and a learning plan tailored to their needs.

I teach Mathematics the way I wish it had been taught to me — step by step, with clarity and patience at the center of every session. My lessons are structured yet flexible: we identify your specific struggles, work through concepts using real-world examples, and reinforce them with guided practice. No memorization without understanding — just learning that actually sticks.
A typical session begins with a quick review, followed by a focused discussion of new concepts, and ends with practice problems we work through together. I adjust my pace based on how you're responding, so every session feels personal.
With six years of one-on-one tutoring and a license to teach Mathematics, I know the curriculum — and the common mistakes students make. That means I can address your gaps before they become bigger problems.
My sessions are open to Junior and Senior High School students taking Algebra, Advanced Algebra, or College Algebra. Whether you're trying to pass, improve your grade, or prepare for college-level Math, I'm here to meet you where you are.
