About Evelyn
Hello! I’m Evelyn, a Licensed Professional Teacher and a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. I am passionate about helping students improve their English skills while making learning simple, engaging, and comfortable. I use a patient and student-centered approach, adapting my lessons to each learner’s level, pace, and goals. Whether you need help with grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, comprehension, or communication, I am here to guide you step by step. My goal is not only to help students achieve better academic performance but also to build their confidence and develop a genuine interest in learning.

As a tutor, I use a student-centered and adaptable approach, adjusting my teaching methods based on each learner’s level, pace, and specific needs. I explain concepts clearly using practical examples, guided exercises, questions, and interactive activities. A typical lesson starts with a short review, followed by the introduction and explanation of the new topic, guided and independent practice, and a brief assessment with feedback. What sets me apart is my patience, approachability, and background in Secondary Education major in English, which has equipped me with skills in lesson planning, communication, and simplifying complex concepts. I primarily tutor elementary to senior high school students in English, grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, comprehension, and communication skills, while also providing support based on each student’s individual learning goals.
