About Anj

Hi! I’m Anj, a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in General Science and experience teaching learners through both classroom and online instruction.

I have experience teaching English to international learners, which has helped me develop strong communication skills and a patient, adaptable approach to teaching. I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, so I create a friendly and supportive environment where students can learn at their own pace.

As your Tagalog tutor, I will personalize our lessons according to your goals and current level. Whether you want to learn basic Filipino phrases, improve your everyday conversations, understand Filipino culture and expressions, or become more confident speaking Tagalog, I will guide you step by step.

Hi! I’m Anj, a Licensed Professional Teacher with experience teaching learners from different backgrounds through both classroom and online instruction. I believe that learning Tagalog should be practical, enjoyable, and focused on real communication.

I use a student-centered approach that adapts to each learner’s level, goals, pace, and interests. My lessons combine clear explanations, guided practice, conversations, vocabulary building, pronunciation exercises, and real-life examples. Rather than focusing only on memorization, I help students understand how Tagalog is naturally used in everyday conversations.

I also provide gentle corrections and constructive feedback so students can improve while becoming more confident using the language.

Each lesson begins with a short review of previous material, followed by the introduction of a new topic or set of vocabulary. We then practice through examples, exercises, and guided conversation. Depending on the learner’s goals, we may work on pronunciation, sentence construction, reading, listening, or conversational Tagalog.

I like to end each lesson with a short recap and practical activity so students can immediately apply what they have learned. Lessons can also be adjusted based on the student’s progress and areas that need more practice.

What sets me apart is my combination of professional teaching training and experience working with learners online. As an LPT and experienced online English teacher, I understand that students learn differently. I am patient, approachable, flexible, and committed to creating a comfortable environment where learners feel confident asking questions and making mistakes.

I also aim to teach not only the language but the natural expressions and communication habits that help learners interact more comfortably with Filipino speakers.
