About Shiela
With my teaching background and experience working with different learners, I can help you develop your speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to match your goals, level, and learning style.

As a Licensed Professional Teacher, BSED English graduate, and TEFL-certified English teacher, I believe that effective learning happens when students feel comfortable, motivated, and actively involved in the lesson.
My teaching approach is student-centered and focuses on improving communication skills, grammar accuracy, vocabulary development, pronunciation, and confidence in using English. I use interactive techniques such as guided conversations, real-life examples, practice activities, and personalized feedback to help students apply what they learn.
A typical lesson begins with a warm-up conversation to build rapport and review previous knowledge. We then focus on the lesson objectives through discussions, exercises, and practical activities. I provide corrections and explanations throughout the class and end each lesson with feedback and suggestions for improvement.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my combination of professional teaching experience, TEFL training, and a strong passion for helping learners succeed. I have experience teaching students at different levels and creating a supportive environment where learners can confidently express themselves and improve.
My lessons are designed for beginner to advanced English learners, including students who want to improve their speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, academic English, and overall communication skills.
