About Holey

I am a Licensed Professional Teacher and a BS Mathematics graduate with over five years of teaching experience. I have taught students from different age groups and backgrounds, both in classroom and online settings. I have experience teaching English to Chinese, Japanese, and Korean students, as well as tutoring American students online in both English/ELA and Mathematics from 2024 to 2026.

I have also worked as a classroom teacher for elementary and high school students. Beyond regular teaching, I have served as a Math Department Head, club adviser, sports coach, and competition/match coach. These experiences have strengthened my ability to work with different types of learners and adjust my teaching strategies according to their needs.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and student-centered. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and actively participating in lessons. I aim to make every lesson engaging while helping students develop confidence and achieve their academic goals.

Whether you need help with English, ELA, Mathematics, homework, reading, writing, grammar, or exam preparation, I am ready to help you learn and improve.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized, engaging, and designed around each student’s learning needs and goals. I use simple explanations, practical examples, guided practice, and meaningful conversations to help students understand and use English confidently. Depending on your level, we can focus on speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, or comprehension. For students who need academic support, I can also help with English and ELA lessons, assignments, and exam preparation. I create a friendly and comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn without pressure. Each lesson is paced according to your abilities while gradually challenging you to improve.
