Hello! I'm Karen, a Licensed Professional Teacher with nearly eight years of experience teaching English to learners from different countries and cultural backgrounds. I specialize in Conversational English, Business English, Travel English, and international English proficiency exams such as IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, PET, KET, and Cambridge English. My goal is to help every student become a confident and effective English communicator.
My Teaching Method
I believe that students learn best when lessons are interactive, engaging, and connected to real-life situations. Rather than simply memorizing grammar rules or vocabulary, I encourage students to use English actively through meaningful conversations, role-plays, discussions, and practical exercises. A typical lesson begins with a short conversation or warm-up activity to help students feel comfortable speaking English. Next, we focus on the lesson objective, whether it's grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, speaking fluency, writing, or exam preparation. Students then practice using what they have learned through guided activities, discussions, or realistic scenarios. At the end of each class, I provide personalized feedback, corrections, and suggestions for improvement so students can continue developing their skills outside the classroom.
